The brief
Cote Hill Farm has been making cheese as a family since 2004, including the Snowdrop, named Supreme Champion at the British Cheese Awards. They needed a website that did justice to that, and let people order the cheese online rather than only buying it at the farm shop.
The brief covered both sides of the business: the story of the family and the farm, and a proper online shop to sell the cheese itself.
What we built
A site that sells the cheese and tells the story behind it.
A visual identity built around the farm itself, using real product photography to put the cheese front and centre rather than relying on stock imagery.
A straightforward ecommerce setup so customers can buy individual cheeses or gift boxes and have them delivered, without needing to visit the farm shop in person.
The result
The website gives Cote Hill a way to sell beyond the farm shop and reach customers anywhere in the UK mainland, while still keeping the warmth and family feel that makes the brand what it is.
It also gives them a single place to point people to, whether that is a customer who tasted the cheese at a show, or someone who heard about the Snowdrop's award and wants to try it for themselves.
